Digi ’05

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-10-22 · Applies to the Digi ’05 apps for iPhone, Apple Watch, Android and Wear OS and to this website.

In short: Digi ’05 does not collect any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDK in the app. The developer runs no server for the app. Your photos and videos are processed and stored on your own device and are never uploaded by the app.

1. Who is responsible

Digi ’05 is developed by Andrii Boiko (sole proprietor, Kyiv, Ukraine) (“we”). Contact: andrew@andrewboyko.name.

2. Data we collect

None. The app does not send any information to us or to any third party: no names, e-mail addresses, device identifiers, advertising IDs, location, usage statistics, crash analytics or photos. In App Store and Google Play terms, this app’s privacy label is “Data Not Collected” and its Data safety section is “No data collected, no data shared”.

3. Photos and videos

4. Permissions and why we ask

PermissionWhy
CameraTo show the live viewfinder and take photos and videos.
MicrophoneOnly for sound in Camcorder 2008 videos. Asked the first time you record a video.
Photos (iOS: add only)To save your shots to your library. The app cannot read your library through this permission.
Storage (Android 8–9 only)To save your shots to the gallery on older Android versions. Not used on Android 10 and later.
NotificationsFor reminders scheduled on your device: your film roll is developed, your free trial ends in 2 days, a new camera arrived this month. They are local notifications; no push server is involved.

You can change any permission at any time in your device settings. The app keeps working without the permissions it does not need for a feature.

5. Purchases

Digi ’05 Pro is sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Payments, billing details and your store account are handled by Apple or Google under their privacy policies. The app only asks the store whether you own Pro, and this check happens on your device. We do not receive your name, e-mail address or payment details. Apple and Google provide developers with aggregated sales and trial reports that do not identify you.

6. Apple Watch and Wear OS remote

The watch remote exchanges shutter commands, settings and small preview images only between your own phone and your own paired watch, using the systems’ built-in connection (Apple WatchConnectivity, Google Wearable Data Layer). These images are not stored and are not sent to us. Depending on how your devices are connected, Apple or Google system services transport this data under their own policies.

7. Settings stored on your device

Your preferences (for example, date stamp mode, favourites, film roll state and a count of imported photos) are stored only on your device so the app can work. They are deleted when you delete the app. Android backup of app data is turned off. iPhone backups follow your own iCloud or computer backup settings.

8. Crash reports from Apple or Google

If you have allowed your device to share diagnostics with app developers, Apple or Google may give us anonymous crash reports and technical statistics (for example, device model and OS version). This is controlled by you in your device settings and is not done by the app.

9. This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no scripts. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages; like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical connection data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse.

10. E-mail to support

If you write to us, we use your e-mail address and message only to answer you. We do not add you to any list and do not share your message. We delete the correspondence when it is no longer needed to help you.

11. Children

Digi ’05 is a general-audience app. It is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the European Economic Area) and it collects no data from anyone, including children.

12. Your rights

Under the GDPR, the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and similar laws you have the right to access, correct, delete and object to processing of your personal data. Because the app collects no personal data, we hold nothing about you that could be accessed or deleted on a server. You can remove everything the app stored by deleting the app and the photos in your library. For support e-mails, contact us and we will delete the correspondence. You may also complain to your data protection authority (in Ukraine: the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights).

13. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. If the app ever started to collect data, we would ask for your consent first and update the store privacy labels.
